This past weekend we went to the annual Monster Truck Jam in Las Vegas with my family. Last year we stayed at the worst motel in the world so this year I was very careful to choose a place to stay without going broke. We stayed at The Meridian Luxury Resorts which is a block away from the strip, close to Paris, Bellagio and Ceasar's Palace. I reserved their studio suite but when we checked in, the lady upgraded us to a one-bedroom suite for free!! It was like a little apartment with living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and even a stacked washer and dryer in a closet in the hallway. It was beautiful and we were ready to pack up the room and take it home with us! It was so nice to be able to relax at the hotel. We will definately be staying there again! On friday, our first night there, we went to see "Phantom" at the Venetian. The opera house was a replica of the one in Paris and it was beautiful. I loved the play and John seemed to enjoy it so that was a bonus. Saturday morning we went to the swap meet, went to lunch at the Hard Rock and then went back to the hotel to relax before the Monster Truck Jam. We had a lot of fun at the monster trucks and can't wait for next year! I forgot my nice camera so sorry the pictures are kind of "crappy".
