Yesterday John's mom (whom we call Pixie) and his sister Jocelyn, had a post baby shower for us. A lot of his aunt's and cousins from both his mom & dad's side came, as well as the girls from Pixie's quilt group. I don't know all of them that well but it was very nice that they all came to support us. They were all so generous, and it was really cool to have a shower AFTER the baby is born so that all the guests can see Weston. It was fun to have John there too. The food was delicious, everything was so pretty, the weather was nice, and Jocelyn made a really cute diaper cake.

*The day or two before the shower, we had stopped by at John's parents, and his dad said to me "have you seen that diaper cake thing that the girls have been working on?" Pixie kind of gasped and said "noooo, she wasn't supposed to know". Then his dad felt bad and said "Ohhh, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to say anything". LOL.
